eBay operates a strict level playing field, which means that all sellers (occasional and high-volume) are subject to the same fees. The types of fees are as follows:
  • Insertion fee - non-refundable fee for listing an item
  • Final Value fee - charged only if you sell your item. If your item doesn't sell there is no applicable final value fee.
  • Optional features fees (Picture Services, Seller Tools, Gallery, Listing Designer, reserve price etc depending on what you select at the time of listing.)
  • PayPal fees - PayPal charges Premier and Business accounts a small fee to receive payments.
