Who can take part in this promotion?

You are a business seller and your company is registered in Ireland and:

You received an invitation email with the promotional link
You meet the requirements for opening a Featured Shop
You open a Featured Shop within the promotion period
You have verified PayPal account
You meet the terms and conditions
You click on the “Activation promotion” link in your email

What does the promotion involve?

Sellers who meet the above requirements and activated the promotion through the activation link, will receive a free 180-day subscription to a Featured Shop on eBay.ie from the date of subscription to the Shop.

During the promotion period, the cost of the subscription to a Featured Shop will be 0 euros (zero euros) on your monthly invoice. Sellers can start taking advantage of the promotion from the moment the Shop is opened. Therefore, depending on the invoicing cycle and the date the Shop is opened, the free 180-day subscription may appear on your invoices over 7 (seven) months.

If, in exceptional cases, by applying our invoicing system during the established time period to a seller who meets all the requirements listed previously, the monthly subscription rates are invoiced and charged in the 3 (three) month period after opening the Featured Shop, the seller should contact our Customer Service team after logging into their account and selecting Help & Contact. The charges will be refunded over the subsequent months following the request.

In addition, the seller recognises and accepts that the aforementioned costs cannot be refunded unless expressly requested by the seller by contacting our Customer Service team, and also accepts that said credit does not grant him/her the right to compensation of any kind.

Restrictions and exclusions of the promotion

This promotion only applies to subscription rates to the Featured Shops. The remaining eBay selling fees and rates shall continue to apply without modifications. More information on eBay fees and rates.

If the seller meets the promotion requirements, it will only be valid one time for each seller account.

The seller may, while taking advantage of the promotion, close his/her Shop or change its format, although the free trial period for the Featured Shop will then end immediately. In this case, the seller agrees to pay only the pro rata part of the subscription fee and not the total amount.

What happens after the 180-day promotion period and how do you cancel a subscription?

Seller has to activate the promotion through the link provided in the email first. After that, the promotion begins from the moment the seller subscribes to a Featured Shop on eBay.ie. Once the promotion period has ended, the subscription to the Featured Shop will continue automatically.

If, once the promotion has ended, the seller does not want to pay the subscription fee, in accordance with the terms and conditions of eBay Shops, the seller should cancel the subscription before 23:59:59 hours (GMT) of the last day of the invoicing period (from the 15th to 30th of the month). The seller can confirm the invoicing period by going to My eBay > Account > Summary and checking the date of the last invoice. If you cancel the subscription after the promotion period has ended, a pro rata amount will be invoiced for the rest of the month when the subscription was cancelled.

General conditions

eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel this promotion at any time, should circumstances arise that eBay considers sufficient for these measures to be adopted. eBay reserves the right to add extra terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

eBay reserves the right to exclude from the promotion any seller who does not meet the requirements of the User Agreement, User Privacy Notice or our seller policies (including minimum performance standards).

Any decisions taken by eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion are finaland no complaints shall be accepted.
