In some locations, you can buy an item on eBay and arrange to pick it up, or have it delivered directly to you.

Scheduled delivery with eBay Now

eBay Now is a local delivery service available in select locations. For a small fee, you can get certain items purchased on eBay hand-delivered to you. You can schedule your item, to be delivered to you either the same day you make your purchase, or the next day.

How it works

• If an item is available for eBay Now delivery in your area, you see the eBay Now delivery option in the postage section of the listing.

• Schedule your delivery time during checkout, pay and complete your purchase.

• Some shops require a minimum order amount.

• You're charged a delivery fee for the service.

• You can see the progress of the eBay Now shopping valet throughout the process.

• Your shopping valet delivers the item directly to you.

• You sign for your item.

Depending on item availability and shop hours, the eBay Now valet can deliver items between:

• 9:00 am and 9:00 pm, Monday through Saturday

• 9:00 am and 6:00 pm on Sunday

Exact delivery times may vary depending on your proximity to the store, the size of your order, how busy shops are, traffic, seasonal peak shopping days, and other factors.

eBay Now delivery is also available with the eBay mobile app for iPhone and Android.

Returning an item

If you'd like to return an item you got with eBay Now delivery, take the item back to the shop it was purchased from.

Return conditions:

• You purchased the item through eBay Now.

• The item falls within the store's return and exchange policy.

Other terms:

• Bring your confirmation of purchase with you when you return an item to the shop.

• The shop usually credits your refund to your PayPal or credit card account within 48 hours. However, some sellers may issue you in-store credit for a return. Read and understand the shop's return policy before making a purchase.

• The purchase price is refunded to you, but the original delivery fee isn't refunded.

• If you've already returned your item and haven't yet received your refund, contact eBay Customer Support for assistance. Stores normally process refunds within 3 days of receiving the returned item.

Cancelling a transaction

You can cancel an eBay Now transaction so long as the valet isn't on the way to pick up the item at the store.

You can also cancel the transaction from the View order details page.

Things to keep in mind:

• We send you a notification when the transaction has been successfully canceled.

• When you successfully cancel a transaction, the purchase price and delivery fee is refunded to you.

• When you cancel a transaction, you won't be able to leave the seller Feedback.

Free Click & Collect

We offer Click & Collect on certain listings. You save on delivery costs and won't have to wait for the item to be posted to you.

How it works

• Find an item you'd like to buy from a participating store. If the item is available for Click & Collect you see the information in the postage section of the listing.

• Find and select a store location.

• Purchase your item on eBay. We'll send an email with instructions on when and how to collect your item at the selected store, and the store will let you know when your item is ready.

• You must collect your item yourself and show your ID at the store. You can't send a friend or family member to collect your item for you.

Returning an item you collected in-store

If you want to return a Click & Collect item, take it item back to the same store you collected it from..

Return conditions:

• You purchased the item using Click & Collect.

• The item falls within the store's returns and exchange policy.

The store credits the refund to your PayPal or credit card account. The store may also offer you store credit.

Things to keep in mind:

• Bring your confirmation of purchase with you when you return an item to the store.

• The store usually credits your refund to your PayPal or credit card account within 48 hours.

• Some sellers may issue you in-store credit for a return. Read and understand the store's returns policy before making a purchase.

Cancelling a transaction before you've collected the item

You can cancel an item you're purchasing with free in-store pickup if the item is still in the order is processing status. If you need to cancel a transaction before you've picked up your item at your selected store, you can do so in My eBay.

You can also cancel the transaction from the View order details page.

Things to keep in mind:

• We send you a notification when the transaction has been successfully canceled.

• The store credits your refund to your PayPal or credit card account.

• You won't be able to leave the seller Feedback for a cancelled transaction.

Local collection

Sellers who don't want to post large, heavy, or fragile items, or who would simply prefer not to post an item, can offer a local collection option.

Items listed with local collection as the postage option appear in search results along with items offering other postage options, no matter where you or the item is located. Read the listing carefully to determine the location of the item and the postage or local collection options the seller offers.

In addition to PayPal or a credit card, you can sometimes use a check, money order, or bank wire transfer to purchase a local collection item, as specified by the seller in the listing. For more information, see the accepted payments policy.

Returning an item you purchased with local collection

If you want to return an item you originally purchased using local collection, work with the seller to find a way to get the item back to the seller safely. Read and understand the returns policy in the listing before making your purchase.
