About Vero

In cooperation with rights owners, eBay works to develop and enforce policies and procedures for protecting intellectual property.

eBay was one the first companies to adopt an online process enabling rights owner to report infringements.

That Programme, called Verified Rights Owner (VeRO), now counts among its participants over 10,000 companies and individuals representing every type of intellectual property - from major software companies to video game developers to rock bands to luxury good manufacturers.

Benefits
VeRO Programme participation entitles you to the following benefits:

Dedicated eBay staff to assist you in getting the most out of the Programme
Rapid response by eBay in ending listings reported by you as allegedly infringing, pursuant to the VeRO Programme notice of infringement
Dedicated priority email queues for reporting alleged infringements
The ability to obtain identifying information about eBay users
eBay member rights and privileges as described in the eBay User Agreement
Automatic updates on new benefits available under the Programme.

How to join?
It is fast and simple to join the VeRO Programme. We require that you fill out and fax to us a Notice of Infringement form specifying the allegedly infringing listings and infringed works, complete with an original authorised signature.

As a rights owner, you can also create your own, free About Me page on eBay to communicate directly with eBay users about your company, your products and the intellectual property rights you own in them.
