Find out if your listings are impacted by Category changes and make any necessary changes before 22^nd September 2009.

Start uploading tracking information for additional carriers.

If you sell items that are essential to insure and you need to recoup the cost of postage insurance, consider adding it to your item price or postage cost. Starting in September, optional buyer insurance will no longer be available in the listing flow.

If you don’t already, start using the new eBay My Messagesas your primary inbox for managing communications with eBay and with buyers.

Use Selling Manager to review eBay’s new post-transaction buyer emails. If you send out your own post-transaction emails, make sure they don’t duplicate messages coming directly from eBay.

Review, update and customize the new post-transaction buyer emails with your own logo and messages using Selling Manager Pro.

Required for eBay Top-rated seller status:

If you meet all the requirements for eBay Top-rated seller status, and you are not already a PowerSeller, watch your email for an invitation and join the programme.

Opting in to the PowerSeller programme is required for eBay Top-rated seller status and all the benefits: up to 30% fee discount, advantage in Best Match search results for your Fixed Price listings, the ability to use Featured First, and a prominent Top-rated seller badge on your item pages.

Make sure all Good ‘Til Cancelled listings specify your dispatch time by the end of October 2009. New bulk editing functionality makes it easy.
