If you haven't sold before, read our guide to selling on eBay first and then take a look at the tips below which are specifically designed for sellers who are new to international selling.

Now start the listing process as usual, paying special attention to the following sections of the Sell Your Item form.
Offer PayPal - it is a safe, fast and easy way to pay online. It also enables international buyers to pay you directly in Euros, which means you don't have to pay currency exchange costs and if your transaction involves a currency conversion, competitive exchange rate fees apply.

PayPal's international transaction fees are competitive when compared to other payment methods such as international money orders and bank transfers. Many international buyers use PayPal to pay for items they buy on eBay, so it's a good idea to offer this payment option.

Select the countries you would like your item to be available to. You can simply select Worldwide if you want to reach the maximum number of buyers, or maybe you'd prefer to just send within Europe. Many sellers start international selling by sending to the UK and then decide to try other countries too.
Explaining the postage costs in your listing makes it easier for the buyer to calculate the total costs of purchasing your item. You can include up to 3 international postage services in your listing. Simply select the country or region and provide the applicable rate. Click Add postal service to add up to 2 more services.
Sending items to international locations can take time, so let your buyers know what to expect. When confirming that you've received payment from the buyer, let the buyer know when you have posted the item to give an indication of when it might arrive.
