Start Selling Now!
From collectables to cars, buy and sell all kinds of items on eBay
Did you know that there are 181 million eBay users worldwide, of whom more than 10 million are based in the UK alone? For most eBay sellers that's a good enough reason to start trading internationally.

This weekend, there's an added incentive - make your item available to buyers in any country outside Ireland and offer PayPal and it will only cost you EUR 0.05 to list! If you have never sold overseas before, don't worry - it's quite straightforward. Read our tips on how to create an international listing and you'll get on just fine!

On Saturday 8th April and Sunday 9th April, sellers listing with Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format will be eligible for a EUR 0.05 insertion fee if they choose to post internationally by either selecting "Worldwide" or an individual country in the Sell Your Item Form (or relevant selling tool), and if the listing offers PayPal as a payment method.

At the time of listing the normal insertion fee will be charged, but qualifying sellers will receive a credit to their accounts by 11th June 2006.

Between Saturday 8th April 2006 00:00:01AM and Sunday 9th April 2006 23:59:59PM (GMT +1)

  • Only qualifying listings (those in which the seller agrees to post worldwide, and offers PayPal as a payment method) in Euros on eBay.ie will qualify for 5c listing fees. Auction-style, Auction with Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats are included for any start price or reserve price.
  • Any qualifying listing previously scheduled to go live on Saturday 8th April or Sunday 9th April will qualify for the 5c insertion fee promotion.
  • If any qualifying listing closes without a sale and is re-listed afterwards, the seller will be eligible for a re-list credit in line with eBay's standard re-list policy.
  • Items can be listed in a maximum of two different categories and still qualify for this promotion if the above criteria are met.
  • Items listed as Auction with Buy It Now format will be included in this promotion but the Buy It Now Listing Upgrade Fee will still be charged.

  • Items listed in Vehicle and Property categories.
  • Multiple-Item listings, both Auction Style (also known as Dutch Auctions) and fixed price.
  • Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy.
  • Shops Inventory Format listings.
  • Any item listed on Saturday 8th or Sunday 9th April but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will not qualify for the promotion.
  • Only the difference between the normal insertion fee and the 5c promotional rate will be credited; all other eBay selling fees will still apply including, but not limited to, final value fees, optional reserve price fees and all listing upgrade fees such as "Bold" or "Highlight". See details about eBay fees.

If your item qualifies for this promotion, you'll see on the Sell Your Item form that the normal insertion fee has been applied, but you will be credited by 11th June 2006. The invoice memo on the qualifying items will read "International Weekend".
