Use the Gallery or the Subtitle Listing Upgrade features for free on Thursday, 16 November 2006.

 


All day Thursday 16th November 2006 from 00:00:01 GMT to 23:59:59 GMT (promotional period)

 

  • The promotion is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland only.
  • Users listing items using Auction-style, or Auction-with-Buy It Now, or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format, or Shop Inventory formats.
  • Users who list items in Euros in the above formats on eBay.ie on Thursday 16 November from 00:00:01 GMT to 23:59:59 GMT (other than those items or listings excluded below) will be charged at 0 cents for using the Gallery or Subtitle Listing Upgrade features.
  • All categories are included, including the 'Car, Parts & Vehicles' and the 'Property' categories.
  • If a user lists an item using the Gallery or Subtitle Listing Upgrade features in two eligible categories, the Gallery and or Subtitle feature fee will be free for the items listed in both categories.
  • Any item listed with the Gallery or Subtitle Listing Upgrade features and previously scheduled to go live on 16 November 2006 will qualify for the promotion.
  • If the user re-lists an item with the Gallery or Subtitle Listing Upgrade features on eBay.ie on 16 November that had previously closed without successful sale, the re-list will qualify for the promotion. If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay.ie re-list policy, eBay will refund the Gallery and or Subtitle Listing Upgrade fee(s), but not the Insertion Fee.
  • Any items listed with the Gallery or Subtitle Listing Upgrade features that do not sell during the promotional period that are re-listed after the promotional period are not included in this promotion.
  • Users can list items with any starting price to qualify for the promotion.
  • Please note: to sell with Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format you must either have 10+ feedback, or if you have a PayPal account, you need to have 5+ feedback.

 

  • Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy. Click here for more full details about our Duplicate Listings policy.
  • Only the Gallery and Subtitle Listing Upgrade fees will be offered for free on 16 November 2006. All other eBay selling fees will still apply including but not limited to Insertion Fee, Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees, and all other Listing Upgrade fees such as "Bold" or "Highlight."   • Users listing using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the full Listing Upgrade fee to list using the Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format.
  • Any item listed on Thursday 16th November 2006 but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will not qualify for the promotion.

  • Please note that the Gallery Listing Upgrade fee is not the same as Gallery Featured.
  • The Gallery and Subtitle Listing Upgrade fees are charged on a per-listing basis.
  • " On some versions of the Sell Your Item (SYI) form, and selling tools other than Turbo Lister, you will see that you are not being charged to use the Gallery or the Subtitle Listing Upgrade features on 16 November 2006. You can also check your eBay invoice.
  • The Gallery Listing Upgrade fee is normally priced as follows:
    • Regular items (Auction-style, Auction-with–Buy It Now, Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) format) – EUR 0.20
    • Shops items (30 day, 90 day, Good 'Til Cancelled) - EUR 0.05 - EUR 0.15
  • The Subtitle Listing Upgrade fee is normally priced as follows:
    • Regular items (Auction-style, Auction-with Buy-It-Now, Buy It Now Only(Fixed Price) format – EUR 0.50
    • Shops items (30 day, 90 day, Good ’Til Cancelled) – EUR 0.50

 

Please note: Only the latest version of the “Sell Your Item” (link) will show the promotional prices. To start selling with the latest version click here (link). If you use the old version of the “Sell Your Item” form it will show that you have been charged the full Insertion Fee and Gallery Feature Fee, if your item is eligible you will see from the “My account” section of “My eBay” that the promotional fees have been applied to your listing.
