For the entire day of Thursday 1 June 2006 (GMT+1), eBay members resident in Ireland listing an item in Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now-Only (Fixed Price) format in any category, will pay a 1 cent (?0.01 EUR) insertion fee.

Thursday 1 June 00:00:01 (GMT+1) to 23:59:59 (GMT+1)

Only listings in Euros on eBay.ie will qualify for the 1cent insertion fee. Auction-style listings, Auction-with-Buy It Now and But It Now (BIN) Fixed Price format.
Any item previously scheduled to go live on Thursday 1 June 2006 will qualify for the 1 cent insertion fee promotion.
Items listed in the Automotive (Cars, Classic Cars, Motorcycles or Other Vehicles) and Property categories are included in this promotion.
Please note: To sell with Buy It Now only Fixed Price format you must either have 10+ feedback or if you have a PayPal account you need to have 5+ feedb ack.
If you re-list an item on Thursday 1 June that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-list will qualify for the 1 cent insertion fee promotion

Multiple-Item Listings: both Auction Style and Fixed Price
Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy.
Shops Inventory Format listings.
Any item listed on Thursday 1 June 2006 but scheduled to start after the promotion has finished will NOT qualify for the promotion.
Only the basic eBay insertion fee will be reduced to 1 cent per item. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to final value fees, optional reserve price fees and all listing Upgrade Fees such as "Bold" or "Highlight". Click here for full details about eBay fees.

Members listing an item with the Auction with Buy It Now format will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.

If the item is listed in 2 categories, the insertion fee will be 2 cents (i.e. 1 cent times 2).
If your item qualifies for this promotion, the "sell your item" form will show that you have been charged a 1 cent insertion fee for listing your item
Regardless of which eBay site they registered with, eBay members need to be resident in the Republic of Ireland to qualify for the promotion.
