Terms and Conditions

What is it?

The normal Insertion Fee of EUR 9 is reduced to EUR 4.5 (“promotional Insertion Fee”) during the Motors half-price Listing Weekend, when you list in the Cars, Parts & Vehicles sub-categories on eBayMotors.ie on Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th June 2009 (local IE time).

When is it?

Saturday 6^th June 2009 00:00:01 until Sunday 7th June 2009 23:59:59 local IE time ("promotional period").

What's included?

• Only items listed in Euro on eBayMotors.ie using the Auction-style, Auction with Buy It Now option or Buy It Now (Fixed Price) formats are included.
• Any listing previously scheduled to start during the promotional period will qualify for the promotion.
• All items listed for sale in any of the sub-categories of the Cars, Parts & Vehicles category listed below (apart from those items or listings detailed in the "What's Excluded?" section below).

• If a seller re-lists an item during the promotional period that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will qualify for the promotion.
• If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will refund the Insertion Fee at the promotional Insertion Fee price EUR 4.5.

What's Excluded?

• Any items listed using the Classified Ads format on eBayMotors.ie will not qualify for this promotion
• Any items NOT listed in the sub-categories of the Cars, Parts & Vehicles category as detailed in the “What’s Included?” section above.
• Multiple-Item listings in Auction-style (also known as Dutch Auctions) or Buy It Now (Fixed Price) formats. See the full details about Multiple-Item listings.
• Items listed using the Good ‘Til Cancelled format are excluded.
• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy. See the full details about our Duplicate Listings policy.
• Any item listed during the promotional period but scheduled to start after the promotional period will NOT qualify for the promotion.
• Any items listed which do not comply with eBay’s Listing Policies or Prohibited and Restricted Items Policies.
• Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to EUR 4.5. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery Plus", "Subtitle", "Bold" or "Highlight". Further information

• If the item is listed in 2 sub-categories of the Cars, Parts & Vehicles category as detailed in the “What’s Included?” section above, the Insertion Fee will be EUR 4.5 times 2, i.e. EUR 9.
• If the item qualifies for the promotion, the "Sell Your Item" form will indicate to the seller that they have been charged the promotional Insertion Fee of EUR 4.5.
• Items which are listed using the Auction-style format with a Reserve Price are included in the promotion.
• For sellers listing with any tool other than the latest version of the Sell Your Item form (SYI 3.0) the promotional Insertion Fee will not be shown during the listing process. Instead the discount will be reflected in the "View Account Status" section in My eBay, as well as in your next invoice.

General terms

• eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.
• The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
