PayPal is convenient to use and offers buyers and sellers protection against fraud, chargebacks and theft of financial data.

Download the free eBay Toolbar with Account Guard. Account Guard warns you when you're on a potentially fraudulent (spoof) Web site. It lets you report such sites to eBay. If the Account Guard doesn't display green, it's not a legitimate eBay or PayPal website .
Before you bid on an item, make sure you read the item description carefully and always check a seller's feedback. The feedback system incorporates comments and ratings left about a buyer or seller ser by other eBay members who have traded with them and can be a good indication of whether a particular trader is trustworthy. Just click on the feedback score next to their User ID to see their full feedback reputation
