Requesting a Seller Account Balance Refund
If your seller account is in credit by €1.00 or more, you can ask us to pay the balance back to you. (If your seller account is in credit, your account balance will be displayed as a negative number.) To view your account balance, go to the Seller Account page.
When will we send the refund?
For Direct Debit and credit and debit card refunds, we can only send the refund to the card or bank account we have on file for automated monthly payments. If you need to change or add a payment method, go to the Seller Account Payment Options page. Note: Direct Debit and debit card refunds are not available to eBay.ie sellers.
For PayPal, we can send you a refund if you’ve made a payment on your eBay account using PayPal before. The payment just needs to have been greater than the refund amount and made in the last 270 days.
To request a refund:
Verify that you have a credit balance on your account of €1.00 or more. To see your account balance, go to the View Account Status page.
A credit balance appears as a negative number on your account status and monthly invoices.
Make sure your address and contact information are current. To update your registration information, click the “Personal Information” link under the "My Account" section in My eBay.
Contact us to request a refund to your payment method on file or to the payment method used to made the payment.
