Paying Your eBay Selling Fees

Selling fees are charges for listing and selling your items on eBay, such as Insertion Fees, Final Value Fees and fees for optional listing features. Learn more about selling fees and how they are calculated, including what you are charged if your item doesn't sell.

How to pay

You can make a one-off payment via credit card at any time via the Seller Account page in My eBay.

Learn more about making a one-time payment and monthly automatic payments.

Payment methods:

  • PayPal: PayPal is a convenient electronic payment service that enables you to automatically pay your eBay fees, as well as receive PayPal and credit card payments from buyers.

  • Credit card: Alternatively, you can make automatic or one-time payments using your credit card.

Your payment due date

If you don’t pay your invoice balance in full each month, your account may be suspended for non-payment and you may be responsible for collection costs. The payment due date is either the 15th of the month or the last day of the month. For information on payment requirements, late fees and payment schedules, see Your Payment Due Date.

Trading Limit
If you haven't set up automatic payments via PayPal or credit card, you can only accrue fees up to €25.00. We can, at our discretion, prevent you from listing more items when you exceed this limit. Your account will be reactivated when you pay the balance.

Viewing your account activity

There's two ways to view the activity (fees, payments, credits etc.) on your seller account via My eBay:

  • Account Status shows your current balance and a list of your account activities.

  • Click the "View invoices" link on the Seller Account page to see your account activity as it has appeared in your monthly invoices. eBay will also send you monthly invoices by email (if your balance was more than €1.00 during the month).

You can also download the last four months of your invoice data to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or any application that supports CSV files by clicking the "Download" link displayed when you view your invoice.

In addition, you can view the last 18 months of your invoice data as HTML files when you view your invoice.
