Looking at your seller account activity

We make it easy to look at the recent charges, credits and payments to your eBay seller account. From your seller accountpage, you can look at a summary or detailed view of your account. You can also look at past invoices and download past account information.

Viewing your seller account page

To see your seller account page:
  1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

  2. Place your pointer over the Account tab, and then click the Seller Account link.

Note: If you have more than one eBay account ID, select the account you want to see from the Account ID drop down menu.

Looking at a summary of your seller account

To see a quick summary of your recent seller account activity, look at your account summary located at the top of your seller account page. This shows you:

  • A summary of the credits, payments, refunds and payment reversals on your most recent invoice

  • Your current balance with eBay as of today's date. (If this says 'Temporarily unavailable', it means we're in the process of creating your next invoice. Come back in 24 - 48 hours.)

  • Any new account activity not added to your last invoice

Looking at your recent account activity in detail

On the seller account page, you have the option of looking at your account in detail. You can do this by clicking any of the 4 links located beneath the account summarysection:

  • All account activity

  • Fees

  • Credits

  • Payments and refunds

If you click the All account activity link, you'll see information about each of your transactions since your last invoice:

  • Transaction title

  • Item number

  • Date of the transaction

  • Transaction type (eg payment, final value fee, insertion fee or Buy It Now fee)

  • Any credits (fee reversals, item credits or payments. These will show as a negative number in your statement)

  • Any debits (fees charged to your seller account. These will show as a positive number in your statement)

If you click the Fees link, you'll see similar information about each fee you were charged since your last invoice.

If you click the Credits link, you'll see similar information about each credit you received since your last invoice.

By clicking the Payments and refunds link, you'll see all of the payments and refunds applied to your account since your last invoice.

Looking at detailed account activity from up to 4 months ago

  2. Click the Customise View link on the next page.

  3. Enter a date range.

  4. Click the Apply button.

Note: You can see transactions older than 4 months by looking at past invoices.

Looking at account activity for a specific transaction

You can see information for a specific item number from up to 4 months ago. Here's how:

  1. Click the All account activity, Fees, Credits or Payments and refunds link on the Seller Account page.

  2. Click the Customise View link on the next page.

  3. Enter the item number of the transaction.

  4. Click the Apply button.

Sorting your account activity

You can sort information by item number, date or transaction type. Here's how:

  1. Click the All account activity, Fees, Credits or Payments and refunds link on the Seller Account page.

  2. At the top of the list, you'll see that Item number, Date and Transaction type are links.

    • Click the Item number link to group all the entries together by item number. This is useful if you want to see every fee or credit associated with a certain item.

    • Click the Date link to group things by date. This lets you see all the fees or credits charged to your account on a certain day.

    • Click the Transaction type link to group things according to the kind of transaction they're associated with. Eg you can see all your final value fees grouped together.

When you sort your account activity into groups, each group has a title and next to that title is a minus (-) sign. You can collapse any group by clicking the minus sign. You can expand a group by clicking the plus (+) sign. You can also collapse all groups by clicking the Collapse All link at the top of the list.
