Postage & packaging costs, handling time and delivery services
As a buyer, to avoid possible problems or misunderstandings, you should consider the postage & packaging (P&P) costs, handling time and other postage services before you bid on or buy an item. Make sure you review the item description carefully for any additional information. If you have any questions about P&P, please contact the seller before you bid on or buy the item
Important factors to consider include:
Does the seller deliver to my area? Can I get the item when I need it? Can I get a P&P discount if I buy more than one item? What type of handling time does the seller offer?
If the seller offers same business day handling, the seller will post on the same business day you buy your item, so long as they receive your payment by the specified cut off time.
Sometimes, sellers list two or more delivery services. Express delivery usually costs more, but can be useful if you need the item right away. If that's not what you need, see if you can choose a less expensive delivery service.
Tip: When you see the eBay FAST & FREE icon, it means that you should get the item within 3 working days with free delivery, based on the dispatch and delivery details provided by the seller. |
