Chris, who lives in Hove on the Sussex coast, is supporting a campaign by his local newspaper, The Argus, designed to raise funds for UNICEF which is helping children whose lives have been devastated by the Indian Ocean tsunami.
The former hard man of the ring is regularly seen riding his Harley around Brighton, with its distinctive “Simply the Best” legend on the tank. The Fat Boy is one of the world’s best known motorcycle models, and Chris has owned his since 1992. He is even having the bike fully serviced and valeted before handing it over to the winner.
Bidding started at £1,000 and ends on January 16.
