  • Myleene Klass' white bikini that she wore on 'I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here' was auctioned for victims of the collapsed Christmas saving company, Farepak
  • Keira Knightley's dress -- the one she wore to the 2006 Oscars ceremony -- was auctioned on the site for Oxfam
  • In February 2006, a number of celebrities donated items to be sold on the site with proceeds going to WWF-UK. Items donated included a rare Raveonettes signed 12-inch vinyl 'Ode To LA', a signed Eric Clapton baseball cap, Anita Roddick's framed painting, Tim Rice's Tie 'Cricket Tie of Heartaches c.c (Tim's cricket team) as worn during their 1993 tour of South Africa, a signed Stephen Fry narrated CD audio of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", a Mike Leigh signed 'Vera Drake' film poster, an original David Shepherd painting (canvas) and a signed The Rakes limited edition 7-inch Vinyl '22 Grand Job' single with signed photo of the band
  • In February 2006, Paul Danan from Celebrity Love Island sold a date with himself on the site to celebrate the release of Date Movie
  • Sophie Ellis Bextor is a huge eBay fan - she has bought clothes, a pinball machine and a huge plastic ice-cream cone on the site
  • TV presenter Holly Willoughby is another eBay fan and she spends hours browsing through the site for outfits
  • In early 2006, the following people donated signed drawings to be sold on the site with proceeds going to the Dorset Wildlife Trust - Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Sarah Ferguson, Melvyn Bragg, Daniel Craig, Ricky Gervais, Ranulph Fiennes, Darcey Bussell, Graham Norton, Michael Winner, Patrick Moore and Chris Rea
  • In December 2006, Pink Floyd gave a pair of 6-ft-high eyeballs used to promote the Pulse DVD to be auctioned on the site for homeless charity Crisis - they raised £16,500
  • Also in December 2006, stars including Keira Knightley, Wayne Rooney, Mackenzie Crook, Philip Treacy, Terry Gilliam, Louis Walsh, Gordon Ramsay, Sir Richard Branson, Peter Crouch, Graham Norton, Jo Brand, the Duchess of York, Fearne Cotton and Cherie Blair all donated signed hats in support of 'WoW Baby' WellBeing of Women's pregnancy and birth campaign.
  • In December 2006, Christmas tree baubles customised by stars such as Shirley Bassey, Sharon Osbourne, Kevin Pietersen and Lemar were auctioned on the site for children's charity Barnardo's
  • eBay users bid for shoes belonging to David Bowie, Pamela Anderson, Ringo Starr, Susan Sarandon, Heather Mills, Ricky Gervais, Judi Dench and Paula Radcliffe with all proceeds going to landmine charity Mines Advisory group
  • In November 2006, rock band Razorlight donated items to be sold on the site in aid of children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent. This included Johnny Borrell's jeans, an amp, two guitars and a vinyl copy of their second album. They also sold a signed Razorlight comic from 2004.

  • Sharon Osbourne donated a diamond brooch given to her by Ozzy as a Christmas present, while Ozzy donated concert tickets
  • Abi Titmuss, Trevor McDonald, Avid Merrion, Kate Thornton and Il Divo all donated a lunch or dinner date with themselves
  • Dame Helen Mirren, Trinny & Susannah, Bella Freud, KT Tunstall, JK Rowling, Kate O'Mara, Emma Thompson, Lady Betty Boothroyd, Tess Daly, Ron Arad, Simon Cowell, Caprice, Trisha Goddard, Tracey Boyd, Linda Barker, Dame Ellen MacArthur, Richard E Grant, Anita Dobson, David Sylvian, Sir Bobby Charlton, Zoe Ball, Norman Cook, Chris Nash, Maureen Lipman and Kate Winslet have all donated great items for sale on eBay
